  5. Jane Rowe Says:

not really your mom!– though I had one that could give anyone she met a run for their money–
Hilarious and thanks for reminding me of the love of a good mother.

So, Jewish mothers seem to negate fine art.

  7. Joanne Mattera Says:

My mother insisted on coming to one of my openings, a solo show in Boston not far from where she lived. There was a nice crowd there when she arrived. She looked around at the work, picked up the pricelist and then shouted to no one in particular: “$14,000?! Who would pay $14,000 for that?!”

  8. Irene Christensen Says:

I think this is a universal mother. My Norwegian mother(88) tap dances too. At a dinner in Oslo when 17 speeches were held, she loudly said “What is he babbling about”. Old age is liberating.

  9. jimkempner Says:

Yes, that’s my dear old mom. 88 on Saturday.
    And she teaches tap dance.

  10. Alan Brown Says:

    Jim,
This goes to substantiate my theory.
“If it’s not one thing, it’s your mother!”

  14. Marcy Pluznick-Marrin Says:

Very funny, Jimmy! Looking forward to watching the other episodes.
