  3. jimkempner Says:

Luckily not one in our gallery. It was actually Robert Indiana’s idea because
of all the LOVE scams he has seen. Thanks for your comments

  4. Gerald Piwowar Says:

Robert Indiana’s line “It’s just not real.” Genuine, 100% pure, undiluted hippie! Great stuff. Thanks.

    Jim,

I’m so glad to see your videos. Your naturally funny and entertaining. It’s great to see the art world has a sense of humor.

    Best,
    Giovanni Rossi

How on earth does one identify a fake Indiana? I OWN a signed AHAVA serigraph.
You’re worrying me now. Funny idea but worrisome for someone such as myself who has made the investment.

  10. Mark Says:

    ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE,
    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE,
    LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED.

    INDIANA LOVE!

    Thank you Robert & John

    Jim, Charlie, et all,
You are totally cracking us up! Hope there’ll be an episode 4.
Your receptionist gets my vote for best/ funniest expressions.
Who knew that Jim was such a comic genius?
    Thanks.

  12. MBVan Says:

A quote from Kandinsky…” art, like love is far easier to experience than to define.”

  13. Douglas Barone Says:

Just rip it up Jim, just rip it up…

Is there anyone out that feels the way you
do Mr.Kempner. One wonders at the professionalism
of said dealers that can’t seem to handle
artists in a courteous way. The sales people
at Bloomies seem to have more poise.
    Loved it

  15. charlie Says:

Their last Koons was broken in the last episode – and it reappears here.

  16. Jea DeVoe Says:

You’re right Mr Kemp “There is no GOD!” only Love! thanks again for the Madness of ART clips, they remind me why I miss New York City all the crazy people and free art! as a young student once I climbed on the LOVE sculpture in Central Park, the real thing or was it? I remember thinking to myself what a great idea and they pay you for this?

  17. BC Says:

I wish someone would get behind this show and turn it into a full time series. The main guy is like one of the Three Stooges, Groucho Marx, Larry David, and early Woody Allen, funny Woody Allen, Take the Money and Run Woody Allen all rolled into one. You don’t have to be an art person to enjoy it- I’ve never stepped foot in a NY gallery and I love it. It’s a bummer that the episodes are so short and so infrequent- though I understand why.

  18. JoeW Grant Says:

This is the first time I have seen or heard of THE MADNESS OF ART. Sat her laughing and loving it.

  19. Sunny Says:

This is hysterical. I love it!
